Thank you for submitting a nomination of an individual or organization for the Unity Award!

This year’s virtual MLK Unity Breakfast will be on Monday, January 16th at 10am. This year’s theme is the Kingian Nonviolence Pledge: Listen, Learn, Grow and Act.

The Unity Award celebrates a member of the Watertown Community who has demonstrated excellence in supporting Watertown residents. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Is a Watertown resident, employee, or organization based in Watertown or that supports Watertown
Has demonstrated a commitment to foundational principles of racial, social and economic justice
Has a commitment to supporting the human rights of residents
Has operated with a vision of equity and inclusion
Has contributed to the Watertown community in concrete ways within the 2022 calendar year

For the first time ever, we are pleased to offer a $500 honorarium to the winner of the Unity Award.
